Mahmut is a graduate of Kadir Has University, Istanbul (BA International Relations) where he held a scholarship for 1999-2004. He obtained his MA from the Graduate Institute of Politics, University of Reading. Mahmut started his PhD at Reading University in October 2010. He has been an active volunteer for a number of different charities since 2006. He has founded and coordinated new charities and projects whilst also volunteering for ongoing initiatives and programmes. He was the secretary of Basingstoke multicultural forum for 2007-2008. He is currently the Branch Director for the Dialogue Society, Southampton Branch and is also a trustee for Basingstoke Voluntary Service. Mahmut works for his own company as an Education and Business Consultant. He is married.
Ugur Mart obtained his PhD from Tohoku University, Japan in 2006 for his research on molecular interactions at solid-liquid interfaces using computational chemistry methods. After his graduation he carried out research in computational materials chemistry as a research assistant in Tohoku University. His research interests are in computational chemistry study of properties and processes in materials, with particular emphasis on nanostructures and multiscale modelling to develop a better understanding of molecular interactions and reaction-mechanisms at the molecular, micro and nano scales. Since 2009 Ugur has been the Southampton Coordinator for the Fellowship Dialogue Society- now the Dialogue Society, Southampton Branch.
Shirali is a graduate of the Ohio State University, Department of Mathematics. He has been a university teacher in the department of Mathematics at the University of Bristol since 2010. Shirali is married and has a son.
Emrah is a graduate of Ege University, Izmir (Computer Engineering). He started his professional career as a software developer in Istanbul and worked in Turkey for 5 years. In 2008 he came to the UK where he continues to work as a Java Developer for a consultancy company in London. Since 2009 he has been the Reading Coordinator for the Fellowship Dialogue Society- now the Dialogue Society, Southampton Branch.
