Abstract
Hull Anatolian Society and the Dialogue Society Leeds Branch co-organised a community event to mark Eid Al-Adha on 06th November 2011. The community event organised in Hull received support from local councillors, who took time to participate in the celebrations and the meal. The community event held in Hull aimed to bring together the local community to foster cohesion and to ensure the participation of other local communities to facilitate understanding about this special occasion for the Muslim community and to share the celebratory mood with others.
