Operation Nicole

On 14 April Wednesday, Dialogue Society North volunteers attended a programme named Operation Nicole, organized by the Humberside Police and held in Hull, with the participation of community representatives living in the area. The programme consisted of interactive sessions which were designed to raise consciousness about an initiative that allows community members to take on the role of a senior police officer investigating a terrorist incident, crime prevention, human rights and personal safety.

The aim of the tabletop exercise was to given the police an insight into the community impact of counter terrorist policing, and provide community members an insight into the decision-making process that the police undertake during investigations.
