World Religions Course: Understanding the Hindu Tradition by N. J. Vakharia
On the 14th November, Dialogue Society North organized a visit to Shree Hindu Mandir, a Hindu temple in Leeds. Niranjanbhai J. Vakharia welcomed the visitors and guided a tour in the temple explaining the philosophy of the Hindu tradition. Mr. Vakharia also mentioned the reasons for some basic practices in Hindu tradition such as abstaining from animal meat and ahimsa/non-violence.
