Where: St Bride's Rectory. 29 Shrewsbury Street, Old Trafford. Manchester
Time: 18:00

Abstract

As part of the workshop series organised in collaboration with local communities, Dialogue Society, Leeds Branch volunteers from Manchester once more came together with the Christian congregation of St. Bride’s Church for dinner and dialogue. Our hosts at the St. Bride’s Church had lovingly prepared a delicious meal for the participants. Following the meal, we continued with our Scripture reasoning workshop based on the lives of prophets. For this workshop the subject was Prophet David (peace be upon him) and his characteristics. After brief presentations on Prophet David’s descriptions in the Qur’an and the Bible, we had a Q&A session resulting in a better understanding of the viewpoints of each religion was established. We thank our hosts at St Bride’s for an enjoyable evening and interesting discussions.
