Outreach
Dialogue Society actively pursues policy based dialogue with parliamentarians, policy makers, members of the local and national governing bodies and other stakeholders responsible for designing and implementing policies that relate to our areas of interest, particularly community cohesion and multiculturalism; identity and integration; family, education and youth; human rights and civil liberties and peace-building and conflict resolution. Dialogue Society organises such briefings to introduce its work and exchange ideas, offering advice for improvement at the policy level while noting feedback for delivery at the community level. Our Board of Advisors include politicians and public servants of the highest stature and experience. What is more, Dialogue Society produces, publishes and disseminates reports containing policy proposals based on research and ideas developed at Dialogue Society. Our most recent report, Deradicalisation by Default: The ‘Dialogue’ Approach to Rooting out Violent Extremism was distributed to a wide range of policy and opinion makers in the United Kingdom and was received with great interest and appreciation by the recipients.
