Publications

Dialogue Society produces policy-related papers, academic research proceedings and papers and community based publications. Policy-related papers are geared towards national and local government. Each paper suggests a new idea or approach on a given policy-area while providing clear and specific recommendations towards its implementation. Dialogue Society also publishes proceedings of conferences it organises which are peer-reviewed papers of the highest academic standard. Dialogue Society community-based publications consist of manuals for community organisations and publications for the public and end-user. Dialogue Society will produce a series of DIY Dialogue Manuals in 2009/2010 (hyper link to Projects section) which are geared towards community organisations and places of worship. Publications for the public on the other hand aim to stimulate interest in the concept of dialogue, introduce and educate progressive thinking, provide a better understanding of faith and religion in modern society and challenge established practices in different areas of community life.
