On Saturday 17 April, Dialogue Society North volunteers visited the Chinese Christian Church in Manchester. During the visit, Revd Canon Phil Rawlings gave information about the Chinese Christian Church with a brief overview of its past and present. The programme included an evening meal, accompanied by informal discussion on intercultural dialogue and interfaith understanding, which was preceded by an introduction to Christianity with its fundamental beliefs. As Dialogue Society North members and volunteers we would like to thank our hosts at the Chinese Christian Church in Manchester for their warm welcome and hospitality.

As Education and Dialogue Charity we visited St. Brides Church in Manchester on invitation of Reverend Phil Rawlings. We had a lovely evening with our hosts, learning about the community work being done by the congregation of St Brides Church and seeing a video clip of their actual contributions to local communities through helping people grow their own fruits and vegetables in the area and around Britain.

Reverend Rawlings also talked to us about Christianity and the history of St Brides Church, which was followed by a question & answer session. Our thanks go to our hosts at St. Brides Church at Old Trafford for their wonderful hospitality and their kind invitation.
