The Dialogue Society is pleased to host Mr. Tom Storrow, Chairman of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust, at its premises on the 28th of May at 11am. The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen connections between the NHS and local people and talk about the topics such as Adults and Community Services, Community Nutrition, Safeguarding adults especially vulnerable ones. The meeting will enable participants to air any concerns or views they have about local, or indeed national, policies of NHS that affects them. All are welcome – All concerns are important.
Tom became Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust chair in November 2011. He has spent most of his career working in and with the NHS, having joined the health service as a graduate management trainee in 1977. After training in Shropshire and Birmingham, he worked in hospital management in Birmingham and Staffordshire, including five years as a Trust chief executive. Tom then made a mid-career move into a role with a consultancy and recruitment company that provides services to the NHS, where he worked for several years, gaining promotions to director and then senior partner.
