Dialogue Society Oxford is now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) (Charity No: 1212526), continuing its mission to promote interfaith understanding, intercultural dialogue, community engagement, youth development, and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) across Oxfordshire. Through educational programs, community projects, and dialogue initiatives, we aim to foster respect, cooperation, and social cohesion across diverse communities.

Winner of 2024 BBC Making a Difference Award

We are honoured to have received the 2024 BBC Making a Difference Award for our work with the Life of a Chickpea project and our efforts to bring people and communities together. This award recognises initiatives that create meaningful impact, promote inclusion, and inspire positive change within local communities.

Through the Life of a Chickpea project, we engage young people across schools in Oxfordshire to explore diversity, equality, and inclusion through interactive workshops and creative learning. Beyond schools, our work fosters connections across different faiths, cultures, and communities, encouraging mutual understanding, respect, and collaboration.

This recognition by the BBC celebrates the dedication of our volunteers, the support of partner schools, and the local organisations that make it possible to bring communities closer together while empowering the next generation.
