We’re very excited to let you know that Dialogue Society has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025, the UK’s largest match funding campaign. Last year, thanks to generous supporters like you, the campaign raised over £44.7 million for participating charities.
We will be raising money for our project, Life of a Chickpea Workshops. Donations to this project will be matched for 7 days from 12 pm on 02nd December 2025, #GivingTuesday. One donation, twice the impact. Donations matched by AKA FOUNDATION through The Big Give.
Our campaign Award Winning project, “The Life of a Chickpea Workshop“, addresses key challenges among young people, including:
- A lack of understanding and engagement with British values. The need for increased resilience to extremism. The importance of fostering dialogue and participation in democracy. Through this initiative, the Dialogue Society will: Facilitate dialogue among students and community leaders.
- Raise awareness of British values, promoting respect and tolerance for different faiths and beliefs.
- Provide opportunities for students to engage in meaningful discussions, develop leadership skills, and actively contribute to their communities.
Project has won both BBC Make a Difference Oxfordshire, London Dangoor Awards last year.

What happens during the Christmas Challenge?
Donations made to our project via theBigGive.org.uk will be doubled during the campaign. If you would like to support our work this year, we highly recommend doing so during the Christmas Challenge, when your donation will be doubled and make even more of a difference to us.
What do I need to do?
- Add a calendar reminder to your diary for 12 pm on 02nd December 2025 (Today), including this link Life of a Chickpea Workshops.
- Have your 3D secure card details ready when you make your donation.
Please note the donate button will appear on the campaign page when the Christmas Challenge launches at 12 pm on the 2nd December 2025 until 9th December 2025 12 pm.
