Abstract

The Dialogue Society is pleased to host the Peter Kyle MP for Hove and Portstlade at its premises on the 18th of March at 11am. The purpose of the meeting is to strengthen connections between the politicians and local people such as Brighton&Hove residents, students and businesses operating in the city. The meeting will enable participants to air any concerns or views they have about, local governments, local and national policies which affects them. All are welcome – All concerns are important.

Biography of Peter Kyle

As well as gaining a PhD in community economic development from Sussex University, Peter co-founded a Brighton-based video company named Fat Sand, is a Governor at two schools in the City.

In his earlier career he worked as an aid worker in Eastern Europe and the Balkans helping children, and young people who's lives had been radically affected by the political instability of war.

Peter moved onto work as a policy maker to The Cabinet Office, primarily working on social exclusion. Many of the policies he worked on, such as early intervention, are still relevant today.

In May 2015 Peter was elected MP for Hove & Portslade he is working hard for everyone in the constituency to ensure fairness for all. He prioritizes job creation, investing in businesses, new housing and ensuring every young person has access to the best education our country can offer.
