Date: Sunday, 5th April 2020
Time: 13:00-13:30

Dialogue Society has hosted an inclusive unifying moment of prayer for humanity amid the COVID-19 pandemic with the participation from community and faith leaders from the UK.

Community hubs and places of worship are forced to close their doors in an attempt to help contain the spread of the coronavirus, we believe in facilitating an inclusive unifying moment of prayer for humanity. As many of our community members are left distraught at the escalating cases, we are also reminded of the altruism displayed by many volunteers and essential workers - and would like to thank them for their extended compassion.

Unified by prayer, we hope to reflect hope during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Participants:

  • Rabbi Oliver Joseph, New North London Synagogue and Masorti Judaism
  • Adem Kantar, Imam at the Rumi Mosque in Enfield
  • Rev’d Peter Organ, Vicar of St Michael East Wickham
  • Rev’d Richard Martin, Bishop of Rochester's Inter-Faith Adviser
  • Jeremy Rodell, Humanists UK Dialogue Officer
  • Mandeep Kaur Moore, City Sikhs Ambassador
