Biography of Kiki Maurey OBE
Kiki is Director of Kiki Maurey Consultancy Ltd providing executive coaching and keynote services based on a 23year track record of management and policy consultancy in the private, not for profit and public sectors incl. Whitehall and UK RDAs. She has also held senior part-time roles alongside her business, and Board roles in the education, housing, health, learning & skills, and business sectors. Kiki also competes in the niche equestrian western sport of Reining.
Kiki is renowned for her energy and verve. She’s an experienced non-exec and Board Chair incl. ex-Chair of Audit for a £400m turnover health authority, highly skilled at steering significant service and financial improvements. Described by Barclays as “one of the best facilitators in the country” she’s delivered business development seminars to over 7,000 business owners across the UK – incl. for Business Link and Goldman Sachs.
Kiki was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in June 2013, for services to women, and minorities in business after championing enterprise and business growth for these groups for many years, including being a appointed to a national taskforce set up by MP, Margaret Hodge. In demand as an Exec Coach-Speaker, Kiki uses her expertise to support small firm growth as well as corporate leaders to hone their strategic, communications and authentic leadership performance.
I’ll be sharing my Top Tips for what makes for a successful life, and a bit about my background growing up in care, being a single parent very young and living in a top of a Southampton Council tower block, being a cleaning lady until I was 28 and then starting on my career. It’ll be interactive and hopefully, fun.
About the Success School
The Dialogue Society Success School is a programme of interactive seminars intended to help inspire, encourage and equip young people to aspire to and work towards success.
The Southampton Success School will begin with two sessions with professional performance coaches who will help participants explore the attitudes and habits conducive to success and fulfilment.
At the remaining three sessions participants will hear the inspirational stories of a range of successful professionals in a friendly and interactive environment.
Regular attendees will receive certificates.
Who’s it For?
The School is primarily intended for young people of 16-21 years of age in and around Southampton. We hope to welcome participants from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
