The Dialogue Society successfully hosted the 2nd Annual Blyth Community Christmas Dialogue Event, welcoming over 120 attendees for an evening dedicated to celebrating community cohesion, cultural diversity, and the principles of dialogue and unity.
The event, held in Blyth and hosted with the support of Fran and the Headway Arts team, featured a thoughtfully curated programme of multicultural performances and activities. The evening was expertly guided by Young Masters of Ceremonies, whose professional hosting ensured a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere throughout.
Attendees were treated to a series of performances, including live music performances by young volunteers and Shanty Group, a South Asian dance presentation by Gaganpreet Kaur, and storytelling by Alison Walton. These artistic contributions provided both entertainment and meaningful engagement, reflecting the event’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange.
The organisers were honoured to welcome Mayor Warren Taylor and Vice Lord-Lieutenant Caroline Pryer, who delivered remarks emphasizing the importance of dialogue, peace, and unity within society. Their presence underscored the event’s role in promoting mutual understanding and community solidarity.
The Dialogue Society extends sincere gratitude to Blyth Town Council, Heart of Blyth Project, and Port of Blyth for their unwavering support.
