On 15 April 2023, the Dialogue Society North East Branch, in partnership with North East Diversity, Education and Solidarity (NEDES) and Something Positive Solutions, hosted a Dialogue Iftar & Diversity Dinner in Hartlepool. The event brought together community members, voluntary sector representatives, and local leaders to celebrate unity, dialogue, and cultural exchange.
We were honoured to welcome distinguished guests, including His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant Sue Snowdon, Cleveland Police Crime Commissioner Steve Turner, PC Geoffrey Coggin (Hartlepool Police), Kathy Dales, and many other community leaders and volunteers.
Guests enjoyed delicious food, live music, art workshops, poetry, and interactive games, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that fostered connection, learning, and shared celebration.
This event was made possible thanks to the dedication of our Hartlepool volunteers, partners, and all attendees who contributed to its success. The Dialogue Iftar & Diversity Dinner continues to exemplify the power of community, inclusion, and dialogue across the North East.
