The 4th Annual Hartlepool Community Dialogue Iftar Dinner, organised by the Dialogue Society under the theme “Voices in Unity,” brought together the local community for an inspiring evening celebrating dialogue, diversity, and shared values. Delivered in partnership with NEDES and St. Joseph Catholic Church, and supported by Salaam Community Centre, the event highlighted the importance of inclusive spaces in strengthening social cohesion.
The programme featured thought-provoking speeches from Cllr Brenda Harrison – Leader of Hartlepool Borough Council, and Taha Özleblebici – NEDES, alongside live sand art, creative workshops and a moving prayer for world peace by young volunteers. A traditional meal prepared by dedicated volunteers provided a welcoming space for connection and conversation.
We extend our sincere thanks to all partners, speakers, volunteers, and attendees who made this gathering a meaningful celebration of unity and community spirit.
