On 11 March 2025, Dialogue Society hosted a memorable Iftar dinner at Birmingham City University , uniting students and staff from the Graphic and Architecture faculties. The evening was a celebration of community, culture, and creativity, offering attendees a unique experience of shared traditions.
The event featured an exciting Kahoot quiz, engaging participants in a friendly competition that tested their knowledge of Ramadan and cultural traditions. Another highlight was the mesmerising Ebru water marbling art, where attendees explored the beauty of traditional Turkish artistry, creating intricate patterns on water.
Of course, no Iftar would be complete without a delicious feast. Guests enjoyed a variety of traditional dishes, fostering conversation and connection over shared meals. The event successfully strengthened bonds within the university, promoting dialogue, understanding, and a spirit of togetherness.
