An inspiring Art and Cultural Workshop on Integration and Understanding Multiculturalism was held at Birtley Community Centre on 11 November 2025, bringing together 80 participants, including many young people, for an engaging evening of creativity and dialogue.

The workshop explored how successful integration can be achieved through stronger connections within local communities and neighbourhoods. Participants shared experiences and ideas on building inclusive environments while celebrating cultural diversity.

A key focus of the session was the role of art and creativity in community development. Attendees discussed how their artistic skills can be used to promote understanding, collaboration, and positive social change. The event highlighted the importance of media, culture, and the arts in fostering mutual respect and strengthening multicultural communities.
