On 1 July, Dialogue Society Birmingham hosted the second event in its Building Bonds in the Connected World series, bringing together community members for an engaging discussion on the impact of the digital world on society. Featuring Professor Dorothy Butchard and Josh Smith, the forum explored digital inclusion, belonging, online harm and the importance of creating safe, respectful and inclusive spaces where every voice is valued. Through expert insights and open dialogue, participants reflected on shared challenges and identified practical ways to strengthen digital citizenship, foster mutual understanding and build more connected and resilient communities.
