Building Bridges in Southport: Interfaith Week Gathering in Liverpool – 2024

Open to Everyone
Free to Attend

As part of Interfaith Week, Dialogue Society Liverpool Branch took part in a meaningful Interfaith Presentation held in Southport, hosted in collaboration with the Southport members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The event brought together people from different beliefs and backgrounds to celebrate unity, compassion, and shared values.

The gathering created an open and welcoming space for dialogue, encouraging participants to listen, learn, and connect across differences. Discussions focused on fostering understanding, strengthening community bonds, and recognising the importance of cooperation in building a more inclusive society.

A central feature of the event was the sharing of Noah’s Pudding, prepared with more than twenty vegan ingredients. Rooted in the tradition of the Prophet Noah, the pudding symbolised unity in diversity—each ingredient retaining its unique character while contributing to a harmonious whole. This shared tradition offered a powerful and accessible way to reflect on coexistence and mutual respect.

Dialogue Society Liverpool Branch is proud to have contributed to this successful Interfaith Week event, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to interfaith dialogue, bridge-building, and community cohesion across Southport and Liverpool.
