We were honoured to host the first Campus Dialogue and Diversity Dinner of Ramadan 2023 at the University of Sunderland. This special event was made possible thanks to the support of the Chaplaincy Department and the Student Union, who helped facilitate a truly welcoming and vibrant evening.
The dinner featured delicious food, live music, arts, and plenty of opportunities for sharing, meeting, and connecting with new people. The atmosphere was filled with energy, warmth, and the spirit of inclusion, reflecting the event’s guiding message: “Reserve a seat in your heart for everyone… Love & Respect.”
It was a joy to work alongside young people, whose enthusiasm and engagement brought the event to life, making it a memorable start to the Iftar Dinner series for 2023.
