The Dialogue Society North East Branch took part in the Isabella Jubilee Fair held at Isabella Community Centre, joining local residents in celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. The event brought together community groups, families, and local leaders in a lively and inclusive atmosphere.
A highlight of the day was the visit of MP Ian Levy, who stopped by the Dialogue Society stall and engaged with volunteers and visitors. Members of the Women’s Platform prepared and served a wide selection of delicious traditional dishes, warmly welcoming guests and sharing cultural experiences.
The fair provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate heritage, strengthen community connections, and promote dialogue across cultures. Through its active participation, the Dialogue Society North East Branch once again demonstrated its dedication to building bridges and fostering unity within the local community.
