Celebrating International Women’s Day in Birmingham

Cllr Andrea Goddard

Mayor of Dudley

Cllr Andrea Goddard has been a councillor for nine years and served as deputy Mayor last year. Over the next year Cllr Goddard will be the borough’s ambassador with fellow councillor Cllr James Clinton as her consort. Cllr Goddard has selected four charities she will be helping to raise money for – Dudley Community First Responders, Mary Stevens Hospice, UpsnDowns and Prostate Cancer UK.

Our Women’s Event was a resounding success! A heartfelt thank you to the Mayor of Dudley, the Leader of Sandwell Council, Councillors, and community members for their vibrant participation. This memorable day was made possible through the partnership with St John the Baptist Church, Birmingham Council of Faiths, and the International Women’s Federation. Together, we celebrated unity, diversity, and the incredible achievements of women in our community.
