On a vibrant summer afternoon, communities across Birmingham came together for “Cricknic Fun in the Sun,” a dynamic event celebrating sport, friendship, and cultural connection. Hosted by Birmingham Progressive Synagogue, the Unitarian Church, and the Dialogue Society Birmingham, and supported by Birmingham City Council, this event welcomed individuals of all ages to enjoy cricket, a shared picnic, and engaging dialogue. With a fantastic turnout, the Cricknic served as a lively platform for strengthening community cohesion, promoting interfaith relations, and fostering inclusive dialogue in an atmosphere of joy and openness.
