The 3rd Cultural Awareness Day offered an engaging programme of art workshops, musical performances, multicultural food, speeches, and presentations, creating space for learning, reflection, and connection.

The event also hosted the Humanitarian Cartoons Exhibition, which presented striking visual stories addressing humanitarian issues, human rights, and global challenges. As part of Refugee Week, police members explored refugee journeys and personal stories, supporting greater empathy, understanding, and awareness within policing and community engagement.

This impactful event was delivered through the collaboration of Dialogue Society, NEDES, Time To Help UK, and Human Rights Solidarity, whose partnership played a vital role in creating an inclusive and thought-provoking programme.

The day was further enriched by speeches from Police and Crime Commissioner Steve Turner, Kamil Kemancı, and members of the Senior Policing Team, who emphasised the importance of cultural awareness, compassion, and inclusive values in modern policing.
