On 2 July, Dialogue Society Birmingham attended the West Midlands Commemoration of the Srebrenica Genocide to honour the victims, stand in solidarity with survivors and reflect on the enduring importance of peace and reconciliation. The event brought together individuals and organisations committed to remembering the past while promoting dialogue, compassion and mutual respect. Through collective remembrance and shared reflection, participants reaffirmed their commitment to challenging hatred, preventing division and fostering inclusive communities where understanding, dignity and social cohesion can flourish.
