It was a memorable evening of connection at our 2nd Dialogue Society Community Iftar in Cambridge on Sunday 8 March 2026. More than 140 guests attended, including councillors Cllr Dr Tumi Hawkins, Cllr Stephen Drew, Cllr Helene Leeming, Cllr Mark Howell, and Cllr Lucy Nethsingha, alongside academics from the University of Cambridge.
Dr Taufiq Rahman and Dr Shabaz Anwar joined us, together with Monkfield Primary School headteacher Annie Howell and members of Cambourne Church, including Revd Bill Miller. Guests enjoyed sand art and inspiring performances on the kanun, violin, and piano, celebrating community spirit and dialogue.
