The Dialogue Society was honoured to attend the annual Kathina Ceremony at the Dhammakaya Meditation Centre in Hebburn, bringing together local leaders, faith representatives, and community partners. Our Regional Director, Tugay, delivered a short address on Dialogue and Connection, highlighting the importance of building understanding from “house to house and heart to heart.”
The event welcomed the Mayor of South Tyneside, Councillor Jay Potts, members of Northumbria Police, and community representatives, reflecting a shared commitment to peace, compassion, and social harmony. We extend our sincere thanks to Venerable Karucha Sripramote and the Dhammakaya community for their warm hospitality and inspiring example of interfaith unity.
