On 28 February, we were delighted to collaborate with the Worshipful Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames to host a Ramadan iftar for more than 120 guests under the theme Building Community Trust. Mayor Cllr Noel Hadjimicheal emphasised how dialogue strengthens unity and fosters lasting trust across Kingston.
Kingston Mosque Imam Sohail Hanif, Fr Martin Hislop DL, Revd Joe Moffat and Rabbi Lev Taylor highlighted the value of meaningful conversation and shared reflection in connecting diverse communities. Guests broke their fast, shared a meal and built new friendships in a warm and uplifting setting.
