On 14 May 2025, the Dialogue Society North East Branch attended the Inclusion By Default (IBD) Conference 2025 at 204 Regiment, Kingston Park, Newcastle organized by ABC. The event brought together over 80 participants from the public, private, and voluntary sectors to explore inclusive innovation, equity, and justice in the workplace.
Marking Inclusion By Default: One Year On, the conference featured keynote talks and interactive sessions using the Inclusive Innovation Framework (IIF), developed with Yohlar, to address systemic barriers and promote inclusive practices.
Dialogue Society was inspired by the insights shared by speakers from organisations including the Child Poverty Commission, Northumbria Police, the NHS, and ABConnexions, and welcomes the opportunity to be part of ongoing efforts to build a more inclusive North East.
