On 8 June 2023, the Dialogue Society North East Branch volunteers had the honour of attending The Lord Lieutenant’s Annual Garden Party for Volunteers and Carers at the beautiful Alnwick Castle Gardens.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Duchess of Northumberland Jane Percy and Vice Lord Lieutenant Caroline for their warm invitation, providing our volunteers with an incredible opportunity to connect with fellow community-minded individuals and celebrate the vital contributions of volunteers across the region.
The day was filled with delightful music, delicious food, and the stunning surroundings of Alnwick Castle Gardens, offering a perfect setting to acknowledge the dedication, passion, and commitment of volunteers. This gathering reinforced the importance of community service and the power of volunteering in fostering connection and social cohesion.
