The Dialogue Society Sutton Picnic brought together local residents, community leaders and public representatives for an afternoon of food, conversation and community spirit. Among the distinguished guests were the Mayor of Sutton, Muhammad Sadiq, the Leader of Sutton Council, Barry Lewis, Councillor Richard Choi, acclaimed musician and co-owner of The Sound Lounge, Hannah White, alongside many other valued attendees.
The event highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to connect in a welcoming environment. Through shared meals and meaningful conversations, participants reflected on the role of dialogue in strengthening social cohesion, building trust and fostering mutual understanding. The picnic embodied the Dialogue Society’s commitment to promoting tolerance, encouraging dialogue and nurturing stronger, more connected communities.
