Dialogue Society hosted a full-day Life of a Chickpea storyteller training, bringing together enthusiastic young volunteers from across the North of England for an inspiring and impactful experience. The session equipped participants with the skills and confidence to deliver this multi award-winning project in classrooms within their local communities.
The training was expertly facilitated by Bengisu and Saide, whose guidance and energy helped create a supportive and engaging learning environment. A special highlight of the day was the participation of Freda Geddes, who shared valuable insights on public speaking and classroom management, leaving volunteers feeling empowered and motivated.
This training marked another important step in fostering youth-led change, as young leaders continue to grow, inspire, and bring meaningful stories into their communities.
