Kerim Balci is a Turkish writer, journalist, academic and human rights activist. He is recently the Chief Advisor of London Based Human Rights Solidarity Balci served as the editor in chief of Turkish Review, and as a columnist at Today’s Zaman and Zaman dailies.

The Dialogue Society in collaboration with the Fountain Magazine organised a conference and Iftar dinner entitled “In the Footsteps of Abraham” presented by journalist Mr Kerim Balci. The evening began with the call to Prayer and guests being served a traditional iftar meal. Mr Kerim Balci, writer and journalist gave an inspiring presentation on the historical roots of the three Abrahamic Faiths and explored commonalities in all three religions. Subscribers to the Fountain Magazine were given the opportunity to meet with religious leaders and participate in a lively questions and answers session at the end of the programme.

Stalls selling books and various artefacts added colour to the evening as participants left with gift items and past issues of the Fountain magazine.
