Gateshead Community Corner 10 – Neighbours Are Connecting Gateshead

A vibrant community breakfast was recently held at Gateshead Leisure Centre, bringing together local residents, neighbours, and community members for a morning of connection and shared learning.

The event created a welcoming space where people from different backgrounds came together to listen, learn, and share their stories. It was a truly inspiring day, celebrating understanding, friendship, and the strength of our local community. Attendees enjoyed amazing food alongside engaging presentations that highlighted upcoming projects and activities, including plans for Interfaith Week.

The Neighbours Are Connecting Gateshead project continues to grow day by day, creating opportunities for meaningful connections and positive change across the borough. We are proud to be supported by the Community Foundation and Gateshead Council, whose ongoing support makes these community-led activities possible.
