Immigration and Dialogue – “Can We Unite the Kingdom?” Panel Series

Open to Everyone
Free to Attend

Birmingham Branch hosted the second panel in the “Can We Unite the Kingdom?” series, bringing together participants for an important discussion on polarised attitudes towards immigration.

The panel featured insights from Abigail Martin, Dr Peter Rooks, and Dr Kamran Khan, who each contributed thoughtful perspectives on the challenges and opportunities surrounding public discourse on immigration. The conversation encouraged reflection on how understanding and dialogue can help bridge divides within society.

Following the panel, an arts workshop provided a creative space for participants to continue the discussion in a different format. Through artistic expression and collaboration, attendees explored ideas around connection, empathy, and positive social change, reinforcing the event’s focus on meaningful engagement and community dialogue.

This event is part of "Can We Unite the Kingdom?" panel series.
