On 18 May, the Dialogue Society premiered its short film In the Same Frame at Birmingham City Council, showcasing the role of creative media in fostering dialogue and strengthening community relationships. The screening provided a platform for meaningful discussions centred on friendship, connection, and mutual understanding, encouraging participants to reflect on shared experiences and diverse perspectives.
By combining storytelling with facilitated conversation, the event demonstrated how film can serve as an effective medium for promoting empathy, intercultural engagement, and social cohesion. The collaboration with Birmingham City Council further highlighted the importance of partnerships between community organisations and public institutions in creating inclusive spaces for dialogue and relationship-building.
