Our recent visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina was a deeply meaningful experience that brought together people from different faiths, cultures, and backgrounds. Beyond the historical and cultural significance of the places we visited, the journey created valuable opportunities for dialogue, reflection, and genuine connection.
Spending time together, sharing conversations, and learning from one another reinforced how important interfaith engagement and mutual understanding remain in today’s world. Bosnia, with its complex history and enduring spirit of coexistence, offered powerful reminders of both the fragility and importance of peace, community, and respect between cultures.
This experience was shared by representatives from different faith communities, including Joe Moffatt from All Saints Church, Fr. Michael Lovell from St Raffael’s Catholic Church, Simon Ramsay from Richmond and Putney Unitarian Church, and Rebecca Singerman from Kingston Liberal Synagogue.
We are grateful for the friendships formed, the insights shared, and the opportunity to continue building bridges through dialogue, understanding, and shared experiences.
