The Dialogue Society North East Youth Platform successfully hosted the 4th Annual Newcastle Community Dialogue Christmas Event on 16 December at DiverCity Hub, Newcastle, bringing together over 100 guests for an inspiring evening of connection, celebration, and dialogue.
Centered around this year’s theme, “Building Community Trust,” the event created a welcoming space where people from diverse backgrounds gathered around a communal table to share cultural food, meaningful conversations, and festive joy. The evening was officially opened by the North East Youth Platform, setting a warm and inclusive tone that reflected the spirit of community and cooperation.
Distinguished guest speakers shared thoughtful messages on trust, coexistence, and social harmony, while engaging presentations highlighted the importance of dialogue in strengthening communities. The programme was enriched with live music performances, interactive games, a raffle, and moments of laughter that encouraged new friendships and deeper connections.
