Dialogue Society Birmingham delivered a Life of a Chickpea session at St Alban’s Primary School, offering pupils an engaging opportunity to reflect on empathy, values and understanding of others. Through age-appropriate discussion and interactive learning, the session encouraged students to consider different life experiences and perspectives in a thoughtful way. The visit was hosted by Ms McKinney and enriched by the contribution of Bishop David, whose reflections added depth to the conversation. The event highlighted the importance of early dialogue-based education in nurturing compassion, respect and social awareness among young people.
