We were delighted to host the second gathering of the Newcastle Scriptural Reasoning Group in partnership with the Dialogue Society North East Branch and Newcastle Cathedral.

This inspiring session focused on exploring the sources of Muslim and Christian faiths, bringing together participants for thoughtful presentations and meaningful dialogue. The discussions were enriched by the welcoming atmosphere and generous hospitality of Newcastle Cathedral, which provided a perfect setting for open conversation and mutual learning.

We extend our sincere thanks to Helen Wright and Peter Dobson for their valued partnership and continued support in promoting diversity, multiculturalism, and interfaith understanding within our community.

Adding a creative and reflective element to the day, our young volunteer Sevda Nur led a macramé art workshop, offering participants an opportunity to connect through creativity alongside dialogue. The session was further enhanced by shared food and warm conversations, reinforcing the strong sense of community and respect among all attendees.

We look forward to the next session, where the group will explore the theme of Human Rights. Together, we continue to foster unity, understanding, and respect while embracing the richness of our differences.
