Dialogue Society North East Branch volunteers joined the Gateshead Parkrun at Saltwell Park to promote the Talking Bubble Project and raise awareness about the impact of loneliness and social isolation within our communities.
The event provided a fantastic opportunity to engage with local residents, introduce the Talking Bubble initiative and encourage meaningful conversations that help strengthen community connections. Volunteers met many inspiring participants and shared how simple acts of listening and friendship can make a positive difference in people’s lives.
We would like to thank the Gateshead Parkrun team for their warm welcome and everyone who stopped to chat, learn more about the project and support our mission. Through initiatives like Talking Bubble, Dialogue Society continues to promote dialogue, wellbeing and stronger, more connected communities across the North East.
