Our Leeds Branch attended Global Responsibility Seminar by Roy Clouser

Our representatives attended Professor Roy Clouser’s seminar ‘Global Responsibility: A North American Christian Perspective’ on Wednesday, 10 March 2010. This seminar was organised by the ISRPL (Institute of Spirituality Religion and Public Life) in Leeds Metropolitan University and WYSOCS (West Yorkshire School of Christian Studies).

In this seminar, Prof Clouser critically discussed the state system in the US and how it reflects on the individual understanding of responsibility as well as international relationships and global responsibility. Then he proposed a Christian approach to state system and how it would manifest on individual, collective and global level.

We would like to extend our thanks to both Professor Clouser who came from the US for this seminar and the organisers ISRPL and WYSOCS for their efforts.
