On 2 June, the Birmingham branch of the Dialogue Society participated in the Eid celebration hosted by West Midlands Police, demonstrating a shared commitment to fostering community cohesion and interfaith engagement. The event, organised by Khadija Sulaiman, Imam Mohammad Asad MBE, and the West Midlands Police Multi-Faith Chaplaincy, brought together individuals from diverse backgrounds to celebrate Eid in a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration. The gathering highlighted the value of partnerships between faith communities and public institutions in strengthening social relationships, promoting understanding, and encouraging civic engagement. By providing a platform for dialogue, service, and friendship, the celebration exemplified how shared cultural and religious occasions can contribute to building inclusive and connected communities.
