On 29 June, Dialogue Society Birmingham visited Srebrenica as part of a meaningful journey of remembrance, reflection and learning. The visit honoured the victims and survivors of the 1995 genocide while encouraging participants to reflect on the importance of human dignity, mutual understanding and lasting peace. Through visits to memorial sites and opportunities for thoughtful dialogue, the programme reinforced the value of remembrance in combating prejudice and promoting social cohesion. The experience inspired participants to strengthen their commitment to fostering empathy, respect and constructive dialogue within their own communities.
