Sheffield Branch Fundraising Run for Talking Bubble

Open to Everyone
Free to Attend

Concord Parkrun

Dialogue Society Sheffield Branch proudly took part in a community fundraising run at Concord Parkrun to support Talking Bubble, helping raise awareness and vital funds for an organisation dedicated to tackling loneliness and promoting meaningful conversations.

Bringing together volunteers, supporters and local residents, the event demonstrated the power of community action through physical activity and shared purpose. Participants walked and ran side by side, showing that every step can contribute to creating stronger, healthier and more connected communities.

Beyond fundraising, the initiative provided an opportunity to engage with members of the public, introduce the work of Talking Bubble and Dialogue Society, and encourage conversations around wellbeing, social inclusion and community support. Volunteers proudly represented the charity throughout the event, promoting positive mental wellbeing, active lifestyles and the importance of building lasting social connections.

The event reflected Dialogue Society’s commitment to combining community engagement with social impact, using accessible activities to inspire volunteering, strengthen partnerships and support organisations making a real difference in people’s lives.

Together, we celebrated the idea that small actions—whether a conversation, a walk or a run—can create meaningful change and help build more compassionate, connected communities.
