The South Tyneside Community Corner 2 – Friendship Brunch was successfully held on 17 May 2025 at Marsden Community Centre, South Shields. The event brought together local residents in a relaxed and welcoming setting to enjoy shared food, conversation, and community connection.
The brunch created a friendly atmosphere where participants engaged in meaningful dialogue and built new relationships. A highlight of the event was an interactive tea brewing session, which explored tea cultures from around the world, encouraging cultural exchange and shared learning among attendees.
Community Corner 2 strengthened social connections, celebrated cultural diversity, and promoted a sense of belonging within the South Tyneside community. The event demonstrated how informal gatherings can foster friendship, understanding, and positive community engagement.
