Dialogue Society Liverpool Branch is proud to partner with the Southport Interfaith Group, which recently held a significant gathering at Holy Family Church. Representatives from diverse faith communities came together to adopt the Group’s Statement of Purpose, affirming their commitment to promoting friendship, understanding, and cooperation in Southport.
The Statement emphasises key goals such as fostering peace, community cohesion, and the well-being of residents, reflecting a shared vision for a town where people of all backgrounds can live, work, and engage together harmoniously. The gathering highlighted the strength of interfaith collaboration and the positive impact that collective dialogue can have on local communities.
As a partner of the Southport Interfaith Group, Dialogue Society Liverpool Branch continues to support initiatives that build bridges between faiths, encourage inclusive engagement, and strengthen connections across communities. This adoption marks an important step forward in advancing mutual respect, understanding, and shared action in Southport.
