On 13 June, the Dialogue Society’s Birmingham Branch participated in a 5K charity walk at Cannon Hill Park to raise awareness and support for Talking Bubble, its befriending initiative aimed at reducing loneliness and strengthening community connections. The event brought together participants, donors, and supporters in a shared effort to promote social inclusion and community well-being. By encouraging collective participation and public engagement, the fundraiser highlighted the importance of volunteer-led initiatives in fostering meaningful relationships and supporting individuals who may experience social isolation. The event demonstrated how community-based fundraising activities can strengthen civic participation, encourage collaboration, and reinforce a culture of mutual support and trust.
